Our Journey

 

Our mission started in 2019 with a personal goal to help our sister, who suffers from endometriosis. Growing up in cold  country Victoria, we always had hot water bottles, but they never stayed warm through the night. We watched our sister endure similar issues and saw friends struggling with discomfort during pregnancy, all while longing for the beautiful, soothing feeling of a warm hug.

 

Inspired by our love for sheepskin, we developed a hot water bottle wrapped in Australian Merino sheepskin. After trailing different wool lengths, we settled on this premium wool for its thickness, density, and long-lasting heat retention. There’s nothing like the soothing warmth of cuddling one of our hot water bottles. Our goal is to offer comfort and relief, ensuring no one must suffer through a cold hot water bottle again.

 

Determined to find a better solution, we conducted extensive research on hot water bottle bladders. We rejected substandard options like the unreliable Chinese rubber ones that burst and caused burns. Instead, we chose the Hugo Frosch German-made thermoplastic bladder, known for its exceptional quality and durability—the Rolls-Royce of hot water bottle bladders.
