IT’S PERSONAL

Hottie was born out of something deeply personal. In 2019, we set out to help our sister, who lives with endometriosis. Growing up in freezing country Victoria, hot water bottles were a way of life—but they never stayed warm long enough. We watched her, and so many women around us, struggle through discomfort—period pain, pregnancy aches, anxiety—longing for something simple: a warm, soothing hug that lasted.

WE MADE IT

Wrapped in 100% Australian Merino sheepskin and handcrafted in Melbourne, each hottie is the product of relentless trial and intentional design. We tested countless wool types until we found the one—thick, plush, and heat-retentive enough to cocoon you in warmth for up to 12 hours. And inside? Only the best. We said a firm no to dodgy rubber bladders (hello, leaks and burns), and partnered with Germany’s Hugo Frosch to house our warmth in the most reliable, Rolls-Royce-worthy hot water bottle on the market.
